DESCRIPTION
This Special Issue was launched based on the Workshop on ARtificial Perception, MAchine Learning and DAtasets for Human-Robot Interaction (ARMADA'17) at IEEE RO-MAN 2017 (http://ro-man2017.org/), held in Lisbon, Portugal, August 28 - September 1st, 2017. The Workshop ARMADA 2017 was intended as a forum for a broad audience, which spans from artificial perception systems, machine learning to data sets for human-robot interaction.
