hydrogen

In 2019 we celebrated the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements in the format proposed by Mendeleev in 1869 and its continued development to this day. Throughout 2019, IUPAC and De Gruyter were sharing content, news, and events centered around the International Year of the Periodic Table. Throughout the year, De Gruyter were featuring content about individual chemical elements, including virtual issues collecting highly cited articles in Pure and Applied Chemistry, in-depth articles from Chemistry International, and new content from the De Gruyter Conversations and Discoveries Blogs. First on the Periodic Table itself was Hydrogen.

The following Reports, Recommendations, and Conference Papers are among the most highly cited articles in Pure and Applied Chemistry
related to the chemical element of Hydrogen.

Chemistry International is the newsmagazine of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC). News about IUPAC, its chemists, its publications, its recommendations, its conferences and the work of its commissions and committees is published quarterly in CI.

Pure and Applied Chemistry is the official monthly Journal of IUPAC, with responsibility for publishing works arising from those international scientific events and projects that are sponsored and undertaken by the Union. The policy is to publish highly topical and credible works at the forefront of all aspects of pure and applied chemistry, and the attendant goal is to promote widespread acceptance of the Journal as an authoritative and indispensable holding in academic and institutional libraries.
